The Costume Contest Begins

Another great Halloween has come and gone. The lil' pumpkins and vampires that crossed our threshold had us smiling and trembling in our boots. Thanks to everyone for their generous food donations. Together we raised $750 for the Oregon Food Bank. A$750 donation enables OFB to collect and distribute 75 emergency food boxes--approximately 3,000 pounds of food (one food box is equivalent to approx. 40 lbs. of food.)  Plus we raised an additional 100 lbs of non-perishable food items to bring into the OFB. Yippee!

Every year we have a costume contest. One prize is chosen by the friendly folks at Campbell Salgado Studio and one is chosen by popular vote. Winners get a $300 gift certificate to the studio to spend on holiday photos. So let the sharing and the voting begin.

Be sure to rally your child's fans by having them 'Like' this blog post on facebook or email this link to friends. But most importantly let us know your favorite costumed kid by writing a comment on this blog post. (This will be the central spot for counting the popular votes so make sure people write a comment here so their vote counts).
